A pub with a high turnover of landlords before being left derelict may have seemed like an unlikely prospect for JCL’s first major construction project. However, after purchasing the site when it came onto the market in 2008 and working with Bloomfield Parker Architects, JCL began a lengthy process of planning applications and procedures.
Work began in August 2015 and JCL spent a year creating a modern building with private parking for 11 units of one and two bedroom apartments. JCL worked with its Partners Morris Dibben and Leaders to draw up leases and manage the units which now provide homes to a variety of tenants ranging from young professionals to retired couples.
