Formerly a church hall, this site in Southsea has been sold with planning approval from student halls above a proposed surgery. The initial developers were unable to complete the project and sold the site to JCL who made the acquisition for its second student hall project.
JCL amended the initial plans with architects Bloomfield Parker, put them in for planning and once they were approved, began construction in August 2016. The largest of JCL’s project at the time, the building comprises 31 student units – rooms and self-contained flats – with cycling storage and commercial units on the ground floor.
